After the November 2024 election RadioFrance reached out to speak about Suprun’s involvement with the 2016 Electoral College and his perspective on 2024.

Suprun was elected to the Texas Electoral College in 2016,

While he represented the Texas Republican Party he chose to vote for John Kasich for President and Carly Fiorina for Vice President. He did this after careful consideration of Donald Trump’s comments and behavior immediately following the 2016 ekection.

He announced his decision in a December 2016 New York Times opinion piece.
